Turn readiness signals into focused action.

Student has not started

Signal: no meaningful practice activity. Action: confirm onboarding/access, communicate why practice matters and establish a simple first-week target.

Student practises inconsistently

Signal: long gaps between conversations. Action: reinforce cadence. Small, repeated sessions are more useful than last-minute bursts.

Student practises but one skill remains weak

Signal: activity is present but a skill remains stalled. Action: focus the next practice cycle on that specific signal rather than giving generic communication advice.

Student is improving steadily

Signal: regular practice and positive movement. Action: encourage continuity; avoid unnecessary intervention simply because data is available.

Student approaches Interview Ready

Signal: progress toward the 8.0 communication benchmark. Action: increase interview-style and role-relevant communication practice. Remember that Interview Ready is a communication-readiness benchmark, not a hiring guarantee.

The operating principle
